I love Mustangs and Jeeps for the simple fact that there is so much you can do to them. This project looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Are you going to detail that engine before you stick it in? Or, are you just going for performance at this point?

I like that last comment.... no the engine is going to get a full rebuild, Heads, Cams, and intake... The donor is going to the crusher tomorrow

My project is also a Mustang. Happens to be a '88 Coupe.

The title says it's a 4 cylinder, but it sure doesn't sound like one...

Love the mustang! I had an 86 gt and a 95 gt. If you dont replace the motormounts with poly. ones be sure and use mounts from a convertable the parts guys here in town told me they were "harder" than the hatches.

the rubber and metal on the vert donor engine are shot lol... I will do a fully energy dsuspension bushing and motor mount setup... by the way... the 91 vert went to the crusher today at 12:30pm!
