Got my new plate in today. It matches the one on my Navigator. Also, I didn't like the factory plate holder, so I took it off and installed this aftermarket holder. It looks great, though I will have to add a support to the back to keep it from vibrating while driving down the road.

I've had the one on my truck since 2010, and I've never been stopped once. Also, in case no one has told you, Texas has no valid front plate law in effect right now. A police department can actually get in trouble for writing you a ticket, because the current law has no penalty attached to it. By definition it is not a law.

State Law does define that you must show two plates at all times.

Try to argue it and see what happens.

I know what the law says. It's been all over the news.

Still, I've had these plates on my cars since 2001, and I've never once been pulled over for it.
