Honestly, matting it and watching the tires go up in a blaze is just about the sweetest thing. I couldn't care if it went 0-60 in 8 seconds or 2.5 if I'm driving the car on the street. Tire spin, noise and being able to push the car to the limit through turns is what makes a car fun in my opinion.
My buddy's vic is a 2004 p71 with a factory 3.55 t/l, supposedly stock. It will leave 50ft of rubber with just aggressive throttle.
nice car but I still had to add that It would be so much nicer if it had a 4 valve man. I wanted to get one so bad but couldnt pass up the milage of the LS
Just for info, my 02 P71 (PI 2v, 3L27 rear, OEM dual exhaust) was right around 4 tenths slower than my 94 Mark at the track - both bone stock. If I adjust to comparable density altitudes the difference would be about 2.5 tenths. This 01 with the intake/exhaust/tune would probably perform comparably to a first gen Mark IMO...
I bought a an 01 sage green metalic CV LX for my wife back in 04 with 32K old folk az miles on it. That car is ROCK SOLID, hauls luggage, kids, bikes and arse all at the same time and gets 25 MPG at the same time. You will LOVE that car
I havnt been pulled over yet. I know it will happen sooner or later thought. the window tint and tail light tint are not helping me at all in that dept. My right foot and loud exhaust dont help either. lol.
Im startin 2 like the full tinted windows. I dont really want to have the front taken off.
