As the title says, my LS is running just as it should. I'm posting this cause I was reading another thread and "Frogman" noted that people don't usually come to a forum and post about how great thier cars are running. So, here I am, bored and maybe a little drunk lol. I've had almost no problems that weren't operator / maintainer caused.

Once I had the transmission flushed by an old school mechanic that didn't have a clue about the LS. He added over a gallon of extra fluid to the transmission and I had a leak for about a month, before I figured out what was wrong. Thats what I get for not just going to the dealer, which I've done ever since that issue.

I think my only actual issue has been, the drain tube for the moonroof comeing undone a couple weeks ago. That gave me a 2 - 3 inch deep pool of water in my driverside floor.

I think there is an oder in the car now, its either from not changing the Cabin Air Filter for 2 years or from the water being in there. Either way I'm going to have the interior detailed and the carpets cleaned this spring, since I've already parked the car for the winter due to snow... in Minnesnowda.

yea.. Anyway. As far as the Engine and Transmisison, even with an extra gallon of fluid and me not being gentle to the car. It's been dependable, and I haven't had to shell out any money for repairs. 68,000 miles and counting.

mkay.. that is all.

Going to do anything during the winter?

Yes, I plan on taking the headlights out and trying to clear them up. They don't have oxidation but they are rather pitted, and look like crap at night. I might also do the angel eyes while their out, but I doubt I'll be that brave. I'll likely end up sending them to Alax, so he can install the rings. I know he's busy with school but I wont need them until February / March.

This spring I'm going to quit talking about doing it and actually get the car tuned right. The tune that comes with the xCal3 is better than stock but still not great.

I'm sure there's more I just can't remember now.

lol Good to hear that the car is behaving. We do need more threads like this.
Whatcha were you sippin on anyway?

While we are at it.....i just took a 600 mile trip with mine.

No issues and was able to get some pretty good mileage doing a steady 70mph.

Awsome, the LS do get great mileage on trips.

heck yeah.

When i fill up i usually get 260-275 miles to the tank. After the trip i filled up and reached 333 miles.

Nice.good to hear things are going well. It's true people dont post things when things are are going good, only when something breaks.

I didn't know my services were that solicited , I have had quite a few members ask me to do their lights. I might have to take a few orders over winter break.

OP, I would try changing all coils and replace the....

Oh wait. Yea glad to hear everything is swell.
