So I've been lurking around gathering parts for my build but heres a little history about my ls.

My grandma bought it brand new from the dealer in 2004 after trading in her 99-01 Continental. She opted for any option she could except the LSE package. she babied the car until she passed and since i was the only one who ever took care of the car and wanted to appreciate it for what it was, when she passed away in February i was left in possession of a near mint 2004 LS with 27K miles.

its light tundra green with tan interior

After realizing that this car had some real potential last summer (2013) I started gathering parts
the first things I bought were new wheels to replace the chrome inner barrel peeling stockers. After searching on craigslist I found a set of 19" jag XJR double spokes

Had them Powdercoated Foundry Silver and curb rash repaired.

Also Purchased a new K&N typhoon intake kit and SCT tuner from a member on here and then tunes from Torrie. And gen 1 LSE side skirts, Mclaren Grille and euro spec rear license plate surround with the rear fog light.

Recently I just Purchased Melvins custom Bassani exhaust and jag big brakes with stainless lines. I ordered 14" rotors and thermoquiet pads for $160 (couldn't sing the big bucks on performance now). Also Purchased Eibachs from another forum member and installed the rears yesterday afternoon.
My future plans Tints 35%, folding mirrors, install all the parts i have and show it this summer.

here are some pictures:

PLEASE, PLEASE don't drive with that stupid fog light illuminated; unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary due to THICK fog. It looks like a brake light from the rear. I HATE following Audi's, Volvo's and Merc's with that/those stupid lights on. One never knows, when one is illuminated (usually the right one.. DUMMIES), if the other is burnt out and the knucklehead is riding the brakes or it is one of those lights.

VERY nice LS!!! :W

How's the ride comfort with the eibachs compared to stock? I'm looking to buy eibachs and I'm wondering how it will affect the ride. I know it'll improve handling at the expense of comfort but I'm not sure how drastic the effect will be. I kinda like the stock smooth ride. I like the color of your car man!

The ride will be on the harsh side. Rebound is controlled quicker than with the stock springs so sharp bumps will feel harsh. Compare the ride of a Buick to the LS where the LS is the Buick and the LS is an LS with Eibach's.

Cant go wrong there! what paint would you use?

Would you try and find a high temp close to that color? or see if regular auto paint would hold up?

Ls4me, thanks for the response. I don't quite remember how soft a Buick is but if your comparison is correct, then I think I'll be happy with it. It's either eibachs or cut the springs. Ford freak, I look forward to some feedback when you install the fronts! Also, are those jag wheels hub centric? I'm picking up some '03 s-type R wheels this week end so I'm curious. I know they'll fit since they are almost identical cars.

Yes, the S-Type wheels are hub-centric. You should come on down to Knott's Berry Farm Sunday and see our LSes at the Fabulous Fords Forever show!!

Great car! Looking forward to see more of it.

Never saw rear fog light for LS before.

yea the black color is better , I had mine painted all white then just the accent white and now its all black again
