I'm 18, and drive a 91 tc that i have been very attached to since i was seven and never plan on selling.i love this freakin car. Imagine how i felt when i walk out of my job at in-n-out burger out here in natomas sacto, ca one fateful night october 2nd, and realize my car is not where i left it. someone had kidnapped my baby. My car was found the next morning two freeway exits from my house, my dad went and got it and didn't bother to let me know till i got home and saw it in the driveway. my new alpine deck was gone, along with my sunvisors, rearview mirror, random interior bits n pieces, the grille emblem was broken off, one wheel n tire gone, the black moulding at the very bottom of the rear bumper(if anyone knows the technical name for this part, please let me know), oh and three pairs of $150 jordan shoes, and $300 worth of CD's. The hood and decklid were unbolted and had been vandalized, or so i thought. I felt like i had just been raped, and to top it off only had liability insurance.I soon noticed that some nicks and scratches weren't there and my key didn't work in the trunk, these weren't my hood or trunk, and these morons left thier VIN on the trunklid, bad move stupid mofo's. about three weeks later my dad comes home from his construction site out in roseville and says something about a towncar across the street from his work with 4 different 20's and the trunk on it had a spot that looked kind of like mine. He asked for the key to my trunk, my VIN, and the VIN from that trunklid and said he'd check it out on monday. monday night i'm at work and saw my dad's work truck outside, which was wierd because he never drives that thing anywhere. I see him and ask if he checked out that car. he said yeah, and that dude had my stuff. What my dad did was take 3 co-workers of his who were really big ex-con biker dudes and walked straight upto tha car, stuck the key in the trunk and hot damn...it popped right open! that's when some worthless piece of crap little mexican dude came at him extremely aggresively and confronted him, to shorten things up the dude had my parts, cops came, locked him up, car got impounded, i got SOME of my stuff back. NEwayz I need to find the following for a 91 signature series: a pair of sunvisors, that black moulding for the back bumper, and the grille emblem. If anyone could help me out i'd be really greatful.********by the way if you happen to read this you worthless piece of s*#t that stole my car, come to in-n-out in natomas and ask for the dude that drives the wite lincoln, i WILL take your top off and paint the sidewalk red, you f%^&in bizniatch, come find me there is a hit out on you***********

re: misfortune

I'm glad that your Dad recognized your hood and confronted the mexican guy about it. I hope he gets a long time in jail.

I live in the UK and our car, a Ford Escort (worth about £300) was stolen from our street. Somedays later we recieved a call from the police. Low and behold our car was found in a council estate car park (I wasn't surprised that it was found in a council estate,as only scum live in those kind of places - teenage mums that give birth to kids at 13, druggies etc.) Some punks and hot wired it by smashing the plastic surround around the iginition key. They had also cut the seatbelts - I don't know why? Thankfully every thing was still in the car, my dad's toolkit, extended interior mirror, mats etc. So we went round with a sack and took the stuff out of including the battery - which was quite new and then phoned the insurance company to take it away.

I suppose the theifs who stole it were disappointed with it, the radio cassette had never worked, and the clutch assembly needed replacing as well as the gearbox. Out of all the cars in the street they picked our old dog of a car. The police never did catch the offenders - if you news savvy you would have heard that the police in the UK concentrate more on issuing speeding tickets than solving murders and rapes, so no surprise that the guys were never caught.

Sorry I can't help with your parts, but their is a guy on lincolntowncar.org who is gutting out his 96 TC and is willing to sell or gie away parts. Check out the for sale section. good luck!

first of all "thats what you get for only having liability insurance"

now that i got that out of the way (not ALL of us are:worthless piece of crap little mexican dudes)

now all that lil s-h-i-t your missing can be found at your local junkyard!!!
the visors don't have to be from a towncar, any full-size ford (crown vic, grand marquise ect)

Dude, he's only 18. Do you mean he deserves to get his car trashed just for not having more than liability insurance? Nobody deserves to have their car messed up...

An 18 year old some times can just barely afford liability insurance!!!!

How did he get in? Did he use the keyless entry, and hotwire it?

Ahh that sucks man. When I had my first car someone tried stealing it right out of my driveway.Keyword:tried.He wasn't successful.I was fortunate enough to see him through the huge bay windows in my living room that overlook the driveway.I got out there when he was getting into it.By the way,it was a 1981 Cadillac Coupe Deville. The car was a TANK!Anyway.I got out there, ripped him out of my Caddy by his throat.I was so pissed off that someone would try to pull this on me I put his head through the drivers door window. He dropped to the ground after that and didn't get up for a little while. My neighbor who I was good friends with at the time had seen the whole thing. We agreed that we would tell the police the he tried putting his own head through the window to get into the car because it was locked. The police bought it.He went to jail for a long time.I had full coverage so it was all good. The window got replaced no problem, and I had a good time since it was the first time I had ever put someone through a window. No offense to anyone but he too was Mexican and couldn't speak english.

But Im glad you got your car back.Save up and make it real nice and cruise by that guy house everyday at the the same time to rub it in his face, after he gets out ofcourse.

What?

What was the angry guy on about many posts back. I think he got out on the wrong side of bed or he has a permanent chip on his shoulder. Anyonoe that bitter needs to see a psychiatrist. Over reacting or what!

that really sucks, if someone looked at my towncar worng I jumped all over them, unfortunately no fights yet for some reason a 6'3" 230lb. guy scares them. freakin rice rocket losers:mad:

i didnt see him say that all mexicans are worthless pieces of :q:q:q:q damn oh and by the way i only have liability on my lincoln for now until i do all what i want to it so umm what does that say about me. does that mean i desearve to have mine stolen. The person that did that crap does need there a-s-s wooped its hard enough to keep a car safe from being hit by moron drivers but to have ur car stolen is one hell of a violated feeling. Good luck on getting the parts you dont have back...

Damn dude that sucked, but its really good that you got it back, and found the rest of it! :)

I'm happy to hear that your dad found out who did it, and that justice was served.

And whats with that guy in the 3rd post? Jeez talk about getting insulting!

Well i take offense of the "stupid criminals" part, are you talking about the 1 guy that stole your car or every criminal?

Why are you taking offense at the term " Stupid Criminals " if a person is a criminal they are Stupid for committing a crime in the first place!!!

Due I feel for ya. My 78 TC was stolen. I saw the car drive away thinkin wow I have thqt looks just like that....cool. Oops. Called 911 and had to wait 15 min before I got through. They caught the kids 2 underage CHICKS Trashed the car. I ended up giving it to charity. Ran great but too much damage to fool with. Cops refused to release their data cause they were underage.

Except for the cell phone I found under the front seat - that was not mine. Boy did I have fun with that. Took them two months to get it turned off.

Anyway There is not alot you can do this stuff happens. Be glad you got your baby back, at least most of her.

I would have KILLED.....

I got a pound of flesh with their cell phone - nothing compaired to the car but it helped with the frustration factor.

Long calls to the Ukrane, Japan, etc.

Finally called a 900 number, told the chick I would be right back -dont hang up... left the call open and threw the phone in a construction zone. Silly me.

it's me towncarclownin916, I started this thread, but have been off the site for a while and forgot my password, so i started a new account. Anywayz, my car is doing good now and is better than it ever was, even though i lost my axle shaft to the curb on a rainy day and had to change out my rear end, but thats another story for another time. I found out who stole my car and saw the dude rollin his TC around my neighborhood like it was kool. I chased him across town and when he finally pulled over he was scared and stuttering, iwas going to beat him down, but figured, what for? so i told him if i saw him in my neighborhood again, i'd shoot him, and i took off. I'm pretty sure he skipped town.by the way to everyone out there butt hurt over the mexican comment, i'm also mexican, originally from jalisco, so shut up. N E wayz you guys should be hearing from me a lot more often. some of you may not like mike jones, but he made a song that really hit home with me and the chorus goes " even though the law's patrollin;, them jackers still rollin', so AK i'm holdin, cause I' not about to go down." So FU carjackers, and peace to everyone else, i'll talk to u guyz l8r.

and everyone lived happily everafter!!
