Ok, i edited/Renamed what i wrote cause of a brain fart....But ima jot down my findings anyways.

13.3v w/ lights,heater on
13.8v w/ everything off. Doesn't go above 14 no matter the rpm
New battery reads 12.4v w/ car off

normal?

Go through a batt every 6 months. I might have a drain but not getting into it here.see other thread..

You have bad diodes in your alternator. It has just enough of them working to get you by but it's not working completely. One of them in the trio is not doing what it's supposed to be doing. Have that alternator checked. If (lets say AZ) says it's good, get a 2nd opinion.

Well it was 13.9-14.0 today. idk, still lowish. I'll prob take it in to pepboys and have it checked.

Looks ok with volts. See if they can do an amp test on it. Find out if it puts out the max 120 amps out, unless you have a 130 amp. I have the same exact battery that you have and have played my system for a while before without ever starting it. Duralast 850/1000 made by Johnson Controls.

It's also possible that you have a dead cell in your battery. Unlikely but possible.

its a brand new batt

I know, that's why I said "unlikely but possible" and I'm still thinking something is wrong with that alternator.

Do you still have various connections at your fuse box with little electronics, like GPS and some other things? Another story I heard once when I went and looked at a 95 LSC was the guy told me he had to remove the power seat fuse every night or the battery would die lol. Not saying that's "your" problem but just mentioning it.

yeah, i thought i left the new batt part out of my first post. I still have my gps ect hooked up, Unplugging it doesn't change readings much.
