My Car Keeps Over Heating

hey yall im new to the forum.. i have a 2001 lincoln ls v6 and my check engine light keeps coming on reading code p0411 and p1299.. at first it was for the misfire in coil to i replaced that... they cleared the code....

also

i believe my cooliant resevior is not keeping the pressure so my car is over heating and when i park its leaking coolant i replaced the hose frmo where it was leaking ... but it still is leaking any advice....

Cracked degas / coolant reserve bottle (the one on the driver's side). Had that happen to my 01 V8.

+1 definatly replace the bottle.

do you know where i can get one other than the dealership... my warrenty is up and they are charging me 165 for the bottle and the installation

Steal one from the next LS you see. They won't need it.

Checkout the LVC sponsors. Maxx at 5*Ford should be able to hook you up.
Also, while not recommended, you could also pick one up at a yard.
