Hello, I have searched this but cannot find it for some reason...
My passenger side A pillar leaks when it rains pretty bad. I know it has to be the little tube that runs from the moonroof out to the wheel well. How (in detail) big of a deal is it to get to the area where the tube any moonroof meet? Is there a how to on here that I must have missed? Any help would be awesome.
THANX

You sure it's coming from inside the A-pillar ? Very unusual unless it's been hit prior .Did you look at the w/s ....that would be a more common area to check .Sometimes if a windshield has been changed this can lead to water leaks if it did not seal properly .Waterleaks are hard to find sometimes and may even require disassembling the interior to find it .Water can run along the bottom of the w/s along the inner cowl panel and then down to the A pillar making it look like its coming from there .Has the w/s been changed prior ?

There are companies out there that specialize in finding and repairinf water leaks but it can sometimes be costly as it can be labour intensive

I am positive that the leak is coming from the moonroof corner. The area that gets wet is not the area close to the windshield it is the area close to the weatherstripping along the A pillar. It starts at the top of the A pillar and runs down to the dash only about one inch wide gets wet. The door seal is dry it is not coming from that. It runs down my pillar and down between my door and the dash and collects in my little pocket on the door. It rained last night and today and the pocket on the door below the spaeker was almost overflowing...

NYC LS8 thank you for the link. Unfortunately there are no instructions on it for how to drop the front corner of the headliner... Pieces are so expensive I just want to know if there is any special way to get certain things off without risk of damage.

A couple screws on the sun visor, handle, and take a flat head screw driver and pop the a-pillar out. I was also hesitant at first, but after 3+ months of water getting in I really didn't care if I tore it up. I super glued the tubes together.
