I guess this should be in the tires and wheels forum, but nobody ever goes there. I have 4 17" Bullit wheels off my 2003 Mustang GT with 4 almost new Goodyear Eagles. Is there any way to use these wheels on a 1994 Mark VIII. If so, please let me know. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not with your stock hubs. Bolt pattern is different.

Just do a hub swap. That way, you'll bolt on the tires, and it'll be easier and less expensive if you want to go big brakes...

How easy is it to perform hub swap? My roommate drives a Ford Focus with a crappy 4 bolt pattern... but it has the room for bigger tires, so we're thinking of taking the wheels and rotors off of my crashed '93 Mark VIII and putting them on his Focus. I'm wondering how hard that would be to do?

Thanks for any info in advance.

thats a bad image in my head now.

the hub swap isnt hard..
the fronts can be done in a little over an hour. redrill your stock rotors, or swap to stang brake setup (GT PBR's / Cobra PBR etc...)
the rears need the hubs pressed off/on by a machine shop, (change the bearings while your in there, its the PERFECT time)
if you want to run cobra brakes in the back you will need the caliper relocation brackets, which are pretty easy to install.. you will need a grinder of some sort or a sawzall, (there are a couple little ears to take off the stock rear knuckle) ..

its not as bad as it sounds... if you have everything in order and access to a shop that will do the pressing on the spot, it shouldnt take you more than an afternoon...

lets just say i want 99 cobra R's, would i have to also do a hub swap as well? or this only pertains to the 03 GT he has?

Yes. All mustang hubs are different from the Mark's

ok so basically if i read this right, to aviod the hub swap i can just install big brakes, like ones from a cobra and it should fit their rims?

No, swapping rotors isnt going to allow you to run stang rims. the bolt pattern is determined by the hub. you would need to swap the whole hub assembly out.
if you want to run 13" cobra brakes up front, you would need to get them redrilled to fit the 5x4.25 Mark bolt pattern...(and get cobra calipers...)

Thanks to everybody for sound advice as usual, But I already put way too much time and energy into restoring this car and I still have lots to do. I did find a set of 17" MB Motoring wheels, silver finish 5 spoke with Falken Tires .They are brand new, mounted, balanced and shipped for 869.00 including locking lugs. Try www.discounttiredirect. Although I prefer chrome, these are the closest things to chrome I have ever seen. I will post some pictures as soon as I figure out how. Anybody want to buy 17 " Mustang Bullit wheels??? :eek2:
