I want to know how you're getting double Din receivers in your LS's? I'm being told that only Half din will fit... From the pics on here i see otherwise

Also are still able to use your steering wheel features? Mute, Volume, FF, RW

First, do a search for double din.
Second, yes you can get adapter modules to use the wheel buttons.
Third, sure.
Fourth, Get better tires.

to answer the last one, you can rip out your entire interior, lay down a layer of sound deadener, reinstall interior. Also, use deadener on the doors.

On the double din, the reason people said they wouldn't work is because there was never a dash kit to fit one into. Most of us have the gen 2 nav bezel, but recently they Metra started making a dash kit. Check sonicelectronix for the dash kit prices.

It would depend onthe particular unit you buy that would determine capability to retain steering wheel controls. Normally, you need a "wired remote" output on the wiring harness.

I think the heated/cooled seats in a Gen I car is not practical. The seats integrate with the gen II climate control, and it is CAN.
