I think I've already made my decision although I wanted to see what other peoples opinions were. I'm gonna leave them off as I don't really care to have them on there anymore. The mud flaps came with the car so it wasn't my idea to put them on. Does any one them? If so let me know I can post more pictures of them off the car.

It definetly looks better with the mudflaps off. Although if you were to paint the black plastic trim at the bottom to match the body, you could do the same with the mudflaps and it would give a nice/different look to it.

I plan on painting the black lower pieces this spring once the weather straightens up. I think if I painted the mud flaps the paint would come off too easily.
As far as damage there are some holes in the inner fender and black trim along the bottom. I put in the plastic screw which held on the mud flaps on to hide the holes, looks good. But on the front fenders there are two holes in the inside fender lip which I'm not sure what to do about.

Over than that you have to clean the dirt that was underneath them.

wouldnt the paint come off just as easy on the bottom valence pieces as they would on the mudflaps, or no? i heard if you paint the bottom pieces, it chips easy...

I'm gonna go with some we put on our charter planes(instead of the ebay type) to help reduce paint chipping on the aircraft. I figure if it works on an airplane going 250 knots then it should work good on a car going 70mph!
