I have a 94 sls with bad dash module
when it goes out I lose air cond. speedo,tach,etc.
how do I confirm that it is the module and not something else like a bad ground.

Dash display cuts in and out. Please help.

I have a '93 STS and just about every time I'm in the car it will cut out like you said and the front defrost will come on. Tonight I checked out the codes by simply holding the red heat button and the off button at the same time (you don't need an obd1 adapter). The codes I recieved were all IPC. http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/dtcobd1.html

This weekend I plan on checking out the grounds on the sensors with the help of the Chilton manual.

If anyone has any ideas at all I will be greatful. I don't want to have the guys at the local Cadillac Hummer charging me 94 dollars an hour.
