Is anyone on here running solid motor mounts? Mine are toasted and I'm trying to fgure out what to use.

Just cage them in and weld them up.
Thats what we do.
I have totally solid metal to metal mounts and the only thing I notice different is you can feel the engine more through the body but only slightly.

I got mine from at spinninghweelssc.com

The guy who runs the Site is named Victor, his wife is Dianne. Very good people, down to earth and excellent prices.

Tell them I sent you their way, they'll take extra good care of you.

Solid mounts are more stress on the block and drivetrain, these days its best to run polyurethane/polygraphite mounts like from PST

Ive heard that some people have broke the solid mounts and that they make the engine sit up a tick higher. I used them on the DOHC swap into my bird, and they seem to be alright.

Maybe my mac is smarter than windows... I don't know. I can type spinninghweelssc.com into my browser and it redirects me. Something to do with google taking care of my typo'd website addresses. :p

Spinning Wheels SC != Spinning Hweels SC. ;) spinningwheelssc.com also redirects on a Windows machine, because the redirect is on the site not on your computer.
