as everyone knows my vehicle was flooded and the dealer put a new motor in it. I got the car back this thursday and had heavy vibrations and saw that the alignment was way off. So i took it to get aligned and still the same problem. Took it back to the dealer and he said he would check it out. Keep in mind my car is an 05 ls v6 with 75k miles. He said that the motor mounts are bad and i would have to pay for them because all he did was take the old motor out and put the new one in so insurance won't cover it and it cost $560. My question is do i have to pay? because i mean the motor wasnt vibrating before and only when they put the new one in. IF they knew my motor mounts were bad when they put the motor in shouldnt they have let me known? Can motor mounts go bad this fast? I called the insurance and they are sending out an adjuster. Its been freakin one month since my cars been at the dealer and when i get it back its still :q:q:q:qed and needs to go back again!

your car was flooded man, all bets are off with how fast things can go bad. I hope your belts are new. they dont like being that wet and then drying. watch for them to crack and then burst in the middle of nowhere while your driving down the road.

Yup, really no idea... Who's to say they didn't damage them putting in the new engine? Who's to say they didn't get water logged and rust?

It is hard to determine if a motor mount is in good working condition by just handling it.
