When I was BSing with Hite & GRELL in KC. I told them about the new mods for my TBSS. Showed them some small pics on my cell phone. Figured I would post up a few here.

I up-graded the brakes over the OEM POS brakes. Powerstop drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads. Install was easy. MAJOR improvement.

Made some custom grille inserts. Added a "SS" emblem. Painted the Chevy bowtie to look brush aluminum. Did the rear inserts too.

BTW I know this isn't LS related. I wanted to share this with my friends(the LS community). Not everyone else. So don't get your panties in a twist.

Hey buddy. Given the amount of members there's no reason anyone would get there's panties in a twist here. Wet, maybe, twist, no.

Good work man. The SS and brushed aluminum "little boy bow tie" looks great. Now how abou them there holes from the license plate?

I need to pick up the right size plugs and paint.

It was a spur of the moment type mod. I started it last weekend. Been out of town all week. Got most of it finished today. Try to get the plugs tomorrow. Day off.:D

Last shot is what it looked like before I started.

Sanded it with 1000 grit.

More sanding.
Coat of grey primier.
More sanding.
Two coats of GM silver.
Little 2000 grit wet sanding.
Lite coat of chrome to give it a brush aluminum look.

That is a very sexy ss. But those lp screws were the first thing I noticed. :p

Other than that I consider it's perfect. GJ :hump:

Thank you guys.:)

I manage to find online some chrome 3757 turn signal bulbs for the lower headlights. I REALLY hate seeing those amber bulbs.
