My center driveshaft support went bad and am going to replace it, but I also wanted to replace that center u-joint while I have the driveshaft out. I can't seem to find the u-joint anywhere, so does anybody have a part number or a source from where i can get one? Is it a common u-joint that i can get at any autoparts store?

Thank ya!

It would be this part of the driveshaft which looks like the second picture, in isolation (second pic is an example, not the actual Lincoln driveshaft).

A good parts store or drivetrain shop should be able to help you with this. The usually have a book that gives dimensions that will cross reference to a part #. Get the old u-joint out and measure all of the cap diameters. Also,,, measure across the joint both ways to get dimensions from cap to cap. Might be best to let them meaure with a set of calipers. That way you don't get the wrong part, and make sure you take the old one with you.
