Message center not working

Sorry if this has been covered before, I did search. Anyway my message center wont turn on, just a blank screen. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is there a fuse for it? 2001 Lincoln LS V8. Thanks

Does the door ajar message come up?
If so, the message center buttons are probably broken.
If not, the message center is probably bad, you'll probably have to replace the cluster to fix it. Note that your LS won't start after you replace the cluster until the replacement cluster, the PCM, and your keys are all "married" back together. This requires a dealer or a good scan tool.

The message center vacuum fluorescent display is dead. You may be able to swap the display from a good cluster, or you may have to swap the whole cluster.
