Recently picked up an 04 LS Sport, the guy beat it to heck so I have some work cut out for me.
Usually anything tech is not an issue for me (Been in IT security for 13 years), but the message center has me stumped. Every time i turn the car off and then back on, the message center says that everything (brake lights, turn signals, etc) needs to be checked. I can hit the reset on the errors and they disappear until i turn the car off and then we have to repeat the process. There's no battery issues, but i wouldn't think that would effect the memory on this thing. Any help would be awesome!

Been unofficially using this forum for a month without having to join, so thanks for all the help already with the car!

Works as designed.
It's not a memory or "resetting" issue. The message center always starts up with the highest priority messages. If there are warnings present, then they will display. Hitting reset does not clear or "reset" the warnings, it just suppresses them until the next start up. You'll have the fix the problems that it is trying to warn you about.

Check your rear bulbs and/or wiring if it's related to the two conditions you mention in your post.
