How do you remove this? Need to replace a bulb.
Recently broke a brake line and the brake light never came on.
Does in snap in like most of the bezel's on the door do?

Just carefully pry up on it one section at a time till the whole assembly comes out of the dash. You will then see the lights. I like to use a flathead with a thin towel wrapped around it to keep it from getting scratching it up.

P.s. Its a twisty mini bulb/socket

OK...I'm assuming that it's all snaps and no plastic hooks to break? Like on the door, plastic hooks on one side and snaps on the other.

No door like hooks, just pry up on the front corners too start, you should beable to pop them up and then there will be 2 more 3" behind those on each side iirc.

I just swapped the (brake) light bulb with the (OD off) bulb, all bulbs seem to be working.
When the brake line broke it lost all fluid and then no brakes and the light never came on. What else would keep the brake light from coming on?

I have a regular table knife in my toolbox for prying stuff without hurting it. Flat and dull, works well.

I just use my fingers with my hands twisted backwards on the front side and then pry that thing up and it snaps loose right in the front but use both hands.

I need a black one myself because a few of the buttons are being stubborn.

Is there some kind of sensor somewhere that tells the brake light to light up (when low on fluid)? Brake light bulb is good, but it won't light up even when empty on fluid.

Last post.

Also, iirc- low brake fluid should trigger the same light in the instrument panel as does the Parking Brake,
Engage and disengage your parking brake to see if the panel light comes on, the one that reads "brake (!)"

EDIT:
Then remove the wire harness plug from the MC bottle and loop the circuit with a small piece of wire.. ill load a pic

Brake light does come on when the e-brake is pressed, but not when you turn the key on. The wire harness that plugs into top of MC is corroded to the point that it's not making connection. Is this plug for the brake light on dash?

The plug on the MC will trigger the same light as the Parking Brake, if you unplug that and then loop those connectors, the light will come on-or should.

Auto focus FTW! I want lasic so bad, I've seen a welding arc way too many times ;(
