Make sure you take special care of that custom box for that grill..the box was $24 lol

Anyway, no drive thru car washes, enjoy

Great! Thank you. I'm sure I'll track the package about every ten minutes until they get it here.

Also should be interesting to find out WTF made a box cost $24?!?

"custom" box... That's some bs! Oh well, it should get there nice and safe

the reason i save all my boxes....

Sure did. Not sure on whether or not it will stay chrome, it's a bit wavy when viewed up close. Might shoot it black when the rest of the car gets painted. Thanks again.

ya make me so glad i spent an extra 3 hours taping all that crap on there then, hurry up and install it already. you should see the chrome on the one on my 93..lol... the only other option is to have it actually chromed, which will run you about $400

You still make them? If I can get some spare cash I may hit you up in a few weeks finishing up 49 or so something truck. Either the custom one or just a stock one if it's good, no chrome I would want to paint it white like my car.

It's going to stay chrome at least until the whole car is repainted (which is gonna be awhile,) so your efforts were not in vain. It's installed onto the bumper, but the bumper is going to be off the car until the forged motor project is completed.

I wonder what was going through the UPS Store guy's mind when you told him you want to take a picture of him holding the grille.

I would of told him I was getting rid of evidence before the trial and the court order to raid my house in all. And that I needed his mug shot for my alibi.:D

Yeah I can still make them. However not as cheap as I was. They are time consuming and shipping in a custom box is retarded

The UPS store packed that thing very well, but that much money for a box is totally not worth it. Next time I'd say just find a big enough box and some packing peanuts or other packing material, there's really no need for a $24 custom box.

I bought a new grill a few months ago and it came in a cardboad box. larger than it . Then they rolled paper into a large tube. flattened the tube a little than wraped it around the grill. The grill was suspended in the middle so the box coud be crushed from any direction and not hurt the grill. I was impressed. light weight and cheap
