So, last week I had my car in the shop for a new rack and pinion and some control arm bushings. Got it back and the steering is working great, no squeak at all. But I still get a pronounced *pop* out of the passenger side front when making a left turn. Not every time but most of the time when pulling into a parking spot or making a left at a light. It does happen every time I pull into work (kind of an S-turn into the parking lot (right then left)). Took the car to the mechanic (dealer) this morning for the repairs (still under waranty). They just called me to say the could not duplicate the problem. They drove it around trying to hear the problem but could not duplicate it. I'll be going down there tomorrow to give the tech a ride so maybe he can hear it. I know I'm not crazy, this has been happening for a couple of months now. It did get a little better when they took things apart and fixed the steering but it is still not gone.
If anyone has any experience in this matter please fill me in. I could really use the help, my warranty is going to expire in a couple of months (2100 miles) and I'd like the LS to be perfect when it does.
Thanks for any input,
n8
