Moss, you have 4.10s and a muffler delete. What do you expect? *throws Mark8 naturally aspirated cookbook at Moss* Duck!
Honestly though, I need to take you for a ride and your opinion would change dramatically. You simply don't have enough mods in place.
Considering the lack of mods i dont have, maybe it does run pretty good. :shifty: still though, as it sits stock auto 3 valve>me. If you were close i would take you up on a ride in a fast mark
i've shamed some stangs..

they aren't that slow.
Me too

My car is just too slow to be competitive with the crowd i run around with. Maybe i need to find slower friends
You will got allot more appreciation for making a mark fast then a mustang.
Truth. Its a bit more money though, and you wont go as fast mod for mod as you would with a stang.
I've owned 7 Mustangs & while I love 'em it gets pretty boring seeing them everywhere you go. For the next few days make an effort to notice every Mustang you pass by & soon you'll see just how common they are.
I prefer to drive something that stands out from the rest. Oh, you can add a bunch of custom stuff to a Mustang in an effort to be different than the other 50 you'll see on any given day, but at its core it's still just like every other one.
Boring!!
Believe me, i keep an eye out for mustangs, and they are painfully common. I dont see very many badass ones though. By the same token ive never seen a badass mark with my own eyes besides my own. sheeit i saw the first mark thats not mine today after about a 2 week dry spell
+1

Mustang? if your baseball cap is not already on backwards, do it now..j/k

-but i get what you're saying....the need for mark VIII hub swaps are just the tip of the iceberg; if I didn't do 90 hwy miles/day I might consider changing cars...rather have a Corvette than a mouse though
There is a reason everybody else rocks one.. Cant get away from the 'me too' stigma though
I hear ya, your $ will go further with a mustang for sure and the only thing that would be easier to get parts for would be a camero.
The others are correct in the fact that mustang are "me too" cars.
Everyone you tell you have a mustang the response seems to be "me too"
If you want one buy one and don't look back, the ride and interior are less than the mark but you won't be disappointed in the bang for the buck.
Wont be giving up much ride quality, have a stutmasters :shifty: lol. But you're right, they are easier and cheaper to make fast than a mark. And in my position, getting the fastest on the least amount of money is the name of the game. It sucks having sh!t pay
Drop a Coyote in the Mark. Then you'll be having fun
5.4 4 valve> coyote. they are good motors, but still terrible overpriced.
I'm biased, obviously.... But if its a 2v navigator engine in a mustang.... walk away.
I will never sink to that level lol. love me some 2000 cobra r clone
I'm working on a C4 right now.. but this ones been beat to hell.
Back on topic, ive had many Mustangs, my first was a '67 350 that I inheretted when my grandpa passed away. Ive had a couple 94/95 5.0s, a 96 v6, 00 Saleen S281 and a few others. The only thing I liked about any of them was the outside look, the interiors of all the ones before 2013 are just garbage
On a plus side thou, parts are easy find, mods are abundant
But like others have stated, Theres too much "me too" factor
eww you had a v6 mustang?? lol jk. The thing thats really nice about a mustang is all the parts available. Instead of polishing out a ****ty looking headlight, spend 50$ and get a brand new one. I can buy long tube headers from like 5 different companys, buy any kind of wheel i could ever want ( i guess i can now too :shifty:

). the idea of a DOHC 5.4 stang sounds quite appealing though
