ken used to sell it. but since he stopped i havent seen it since. i think its for the lse but i think someone cut it to fit the stock lower grill.

The company I got those from doesn't make them any more. However, you can go to www.ametco.com and buy a big sheet of it and cut it to your specifications.

would you be willing to buy the material, do the fabricating and then ship to the customer for a price? if so, how much would I be looking at? I can't stand the damn lower grille on this thing! lol

Your best bet is to go in with a bunch of people and do it that way. Then have someone cut it up and make a small fee for cutting it up. There was some members of another club do that.

Ken. I think I told you...a month or so I hit a cat, and cracked the lowermost edge of my LSE front bumper cover. Also broke one of the horizontal center slats. Im thinking of using a dremel to remove the remaining center slats, then having a local body shop fix the crack and re-shoot the whole thing. I'd then add a mesh screen to the backside of the opening. The end result would hopefully look like yours....Im guessing. Your thoughts?

Ron,

I think that would look great. I'm leaning towards updating my front end to the 04 and up LSE front bumper and adding the mesh grille to the lower portion. I won't cut the bars but rather have the mesh behind the bars. However, if you have the bars cut and add the mesh it will look great.

I bought the material from a guy that never put it on his car. It came with a template that I still have. It still required some minor cuts around the edges for a proper fit. I painted it and affixed it with zip ties, in front of the existing grille bars.

Bill,

Do you still have the template that Chris gave you with the material?

Ken, if you need a template, I'll be taking mine off the car so I can trace one out if you'd like.

I believe it's "archived" in the basement. Don't know why I didn't throw it out. Need it?

Mike/Bill,

If you have the template I'd take it for future reference.
