what do you guys think of the mazda 6, my gf is considering getting one? its a 2004 v6 (manual)sport 8k miles 14500, full warranty... I drove it but dont really like the stance, I think it sits a lil high handles alright, nothing compared to my civic, and I personally dont like the way it shifts...let me know what ya think....
 
If it's anything like the '05 Mazda6 that I test drove, it's an excellent vehicle. All of the reviews I've read about the 6 have been positively gushing over it, and I'd have to agree. (Zephyr owners should have an excelent vehicle if Lincoln can live up to Mazda's example.) I test drove one right after I drove the '04 LS that I wound up buying; it was a close call, and I've been wanting an LS for years.

I don't know about the one you drove, but the 3.0V6/5-speed stick Mazda6 that I drove handled very well, and it had a very good amount of "push you back in your seat" grunt from a stop. It actually reminded me very much of the '97 M3 that I test drove a couple of years ago, only ingress and egress was easier, and the seat fit me better. It was a very nice car, and I wouldn't mind owning one.

If it had been the 286HP AWD MazdaSpeed6 (due out in a couple of months), I'm thinking that my decision just might have been different.
 
the forums over at mazda6club.com is really good. I was looking at an 03 5spd, v6 right when they came out but they wouldnt deal (with 4 sitting on the lot) so i went over and stole my 03 LS.
 
she wanted en escalade.... lol... but she cant quite afford one, I'm cosigning for her...eeekkk but she needs a reliable vehicle and i need to get her out of my car before she ruins it. She wants something sporty, she hates mustangs, she likes the new 300c (not really sporty looking). I really just keep my mouth shut, whatever she wants I guess she'll get.
I had a rx-7 oh man i loved that car... Maybe i could convince her to get the rx8 hmmm.......

heyyyyy how about a lincoln ls! i dont know if anyone has heard of this car but i heard it is nice :steering jk
 
oh man,, her in a lincoln ls, and everyone on this wonderful board keeps talking about problems, i put her in a car that has problems and i'll never hear the end of it.... She likes driving my car, she loves my civic, but she wont buy one.. lol. shes also leaning towards a used beamer 3 series. Were going out shopping today. There is a dealer around my house thats having a big liguidation sale.. (so they say).... I'm gona convince her to get the rx8 heheheh
 
Nice rides my good friend has a 02 V6 with the sport package and he simple loves it. I drove a little for the money it has the power and handling. EEEEEk I love BMWs but lets be honest if she cant afford a new clutch or brake repairs on one then you should stick with a Mazda, I am sure those repairs are a little bit cheaper.

I'll let everyone know what she gets...... pray for me!!!! its technically my car, its gona be in my name, you know what... I'm gona get an aviator the hell with her she can drive the civic... heheh
