May be time for it to go...

yea but the problem with mustangs is that everybody owns one, hell if you live in the suburbs of Detroit, they would come in the mail along with samples of Tide!

i want power in a car of better quality, something that rides well and is comfortable.

Sorry to here Pete. An 06 would really makes a difference, but if you must venture out of the LS world, we understand.

Plus a 03/04 SVT Cobra is going to set you back.
Nice one low miles=20k around here.
15k for a decent car.
10k for a mach 1 then you would have to hit the stang boards for the parts for a swap.
After all of that you would have a well a mustang. :p

Pete, maybe look for a early LS out of state.
The 160k wouldn't scare me, but the rust does.

Is that a Wayne's world quote I see? Lol.

Hate to see you let the LS go!

"what am I gonna do.... With a gun rack?". Classic movie.

Man, I'm feeling sub-standard here. I know Wayne's World pretty good but I haven't seen the quote - except for the "gun rack" one. Was the "Tide" quote in the movie or was it something else?

<checks to see if monkeys are flying out of his butt>

Lol Ya the "samples of tide" is the quote. It's when they are laying in bed and she bought him records. The quote was paraphrased a little though.

"Were not worthy, were not worthy"

i think its actually from wayne's world 2

Cassandra: Wait, let me show you what I got at a garage sale.

Wayne: What'cha got?

Cassandra: Isn't that great? You've heard it?

Wayne: Exqueese me? Have I seen this one before? "Frampton Comes Alive"? Everybody in the world has Frampton Comes Alive. If you lived in the suburbs you were issued it. It came in the mail with samples of "Tide".

Cassandra: Look at this old one. Gerry and the Pacemakers.

Wayne: Wow. That is old. You know, I bet those guys actually have pacemakers by now.

even better

So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

Thanks, Loud - at least I'm not going crazy. I have the first Wayne's World, but only saw the second one in the theaters, and opted not to own it.

A German vehicle without a warranty calls for a large pocket.

If you are going to the dealer for repairs yes, but if you have a good mechanic and hook up with parts no.

I spent less $$$ fixing an AMG CL mercedes in 3 years than I spent the LS in first 3 years out of warranty.

M5 and E55 are gonna way for fun to drive than the Audis because of the RWD, expecially the BMW with it's 6 speed.

So true... Always wanted an m5, but if I could find an amg for under 30 that could be an option too...

You could also get a 2009 XF for around 30K and a sueprcharged for less than 40K.

There are some really nice 03/04 E55s on ebay for around 24-27k.

My friend has an 08 E63 and it is beautiful and drives great but it does have a little less punch I think than the e55's supercharged engine.

Try to find one locally and drive it, you will love it.

My cousin just one of those. It's 08 E63 AMG... wagon. Looks soooooo bad ass.
Never thought i would like a wagon, until i saw that thing. 450hp and over 500 ft torque- she flies.

It's actually 507hp and 465lb/ft torque. It is a sweet car, especially in wagon form.
