Maxed out the ls

Yeah, but those are Canadian MPH. That's only like 105 in the States. :D

Go back to school !

Canada does not have MPH but rather KPH

155MPH = 250KPH vs. 155KPH = 96MPH

~ 5 guys in an LS doing 155KPH and getting busted, wouldn't make the news.
~ and we already all know LS's don't do 155MPH stock.

tsk, tsk, tsk .... :p

... rented a BMW 3 series to take the kiddies ... going about 125MPH

Dumkof !!!

Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch, weil ich in Europa für viele Jahre zu leben und meine Frau ist auch Deutsch Italienisch.

Ahh, the memories, same color, same model, same AutoBahn,
remember Dad used to put all the luggage up front but checked the oil in the back.

Strange but true.

Gen 1 sports have no speed limiter. Probably could do it on a LONG stretch of road, sloped slightly downhill, with a tail wind. However I would promptly beat the sh*t out of whoever was driving that car if I were a passenger in it.

You might want to wait until the car is stopped :p;)

BTW, speed doesn't kill. It's usually the sudden stop at the end!

Touche. Yes, I forgot to post that little, yet important, piece of info. :D

If I read that right you say you spent time in Europe, and your wife is German/Italian? I never was able to pick up the language over there. It was a blast though. We want to go back one of these years for a monthlong vacation.

Nail on the head, yup, was actually born in Europe and we traveled back and forth through germany on the Autobahn often.

My Dad went to Sweden, bought and drove back his new at the time Saab 900 Turbo,
He hydroplaned it with us kids in the car on the autobahn once but got a hold of it before all went wrong. (high speed in the rain = Dumkof )
we had a BMW 2002 (orange) aswell for a while, it went on many of trips on the Autobahn as well.

I remember the German Police on the Autobahn, white, green doors porsche 911's
