Here is a 50-130 roll against my buddy's 06 Mustang GT. The car has full exhaust with no cats, intake, and dyno tune. He ran a 13.5 @ 103.7 when his car was bone stock. No clue what it runs now, but it is quick. I was 605# heavier than him in this video. I think I will make up the ground lost on my track setup as I will have no passenger (of course lol) and will be 300# lighter. I think anything past 105 mph was a waste of time but I guess that's what he needed in order to finally pass me up where I apparently begin running out of breath a little bit more than him. Too bad those speeds won't matter at the drag strip. :p

Yeah man, he only had a few car lengths on me at 130 mph which at that speed equates to literally a few tenths only. I will lose 3 tenths right off the bat just with dead weight reduction and expect the possibility of even a little more considering some of that will actually be rotational mass on the end of my axles. I can't wait. He was very surprised. :D

You would be surprised which cars pull hard on the top end... nice runs.

Thanks! ;)

Yeah, I'm not going to base my car's performance on a silly non-formal race. But I can make some theories. The track will determine which car completes the 1/4 mile first and I think as an opponent my car will be pretty potent. Either way, I just want my new timeslip. Running him at the track would be fun, but I could care less. I held him off all the way up to my 1/4 mile trap speed on the street running super heavy. He will be on Nitto triple5s on race day so it will be interesting to see. All I know is that I am going to launch this thing as hard as I can. I want 1.8 short times and the rest of my old times will be history.

pull a frank, get some nawzz and run 11s:D

Not on this high mileage unit. :p

why? 170,000 miles plus on dry 100 shot on mine and never had an issue when I had it. Plus it dropped almost a second in the 1/8. I had an 06 GT with a tune, cat back, and nittos. My Mark with a 100 shot and tune ran the exact same times in the 1/8.
