Well I know I dont like to get up early but it seems my Mark likes me to. Every morning for the last 4 or 5 days about 630 my Marks alarm goes off. Dont know why but it is the only time it does. Anyone else have this same problem or had it?

Mine started to do it right around 10pm after being home since 5-5:30. Wrecked it before I could figure it out. but after it was wrecked I tried arming the alarm, and since the hood sensor wasn't engaged it caused the alarm to go off a few seconds later. Someone said if you unplug the hood sensor it should keep it from doing that. I also hosed down the latch in the door with PB Blaster too just incase something in there was dirty or contacting. The hood switch seemed to get it though. It is on the passenger side right about where your mass air flow meter is.

Yes, I had the same problem too.
Every night, around 4 AM the alarm would go off while the car sat in the drive-way.
It didn't bother me, I couldn't hear it. However, my neighbor who worked nights found it to be very upsetting.

I disconnected the alarm, it's behind the glove box.
Solved the problem.
I think that's how most of us do it.

The other option is to replace the hood sensor.
Call Max at 5 Star Ford and order one if you want to go that route.

I had the problem and it was after I would be at work for a few hours kind of randomly. I've had the mark since it was a couple years old and when it was newer, the remote was sensitive and I first thought maybe I was hitting the button of the remote in my pocket. I started setting my keys in a basket and it still did it sometimes. I finally figured out it stopped when I replaced my door ajar switches. So, that's where I would look first. Do you have a door ajar light on sometimes?

sounds like a door ajar problem to me. spray some wd40 in the latchs and see if that helps.

I had the same problem..
It was veryu easy to fix.. the hood switch may be suspect but it may be more like the hood has rubber stoppers at the nose, if not adjusted correctly the hood will sit up a bit too far and not allow the switch to be depressed far enough if at all.
good luck.
Bill

Cool... Ive taken the batteries out of the remote the last couple of nights and have not got woke up. But I will try to spray the things down and see what happens. Thanks
