Well my Mark gets to go into semi retirement. I just bought an 03 CVPI. I will post pictures tomorrow. So let me ask is there any on around here that knows anything I need to look for as this CVPI gets older and more miles on it?
 
The timing chain tensioners were known to go bad on 01-03 panther models (mostly P71s). Keep your ear out for a rattle from the front cover when the car first starts up.

Many 03's had an LCM problem causing the headlights to only sometimes work. If your headlights ever cut in/ out or go out completely, that's your problem...

I miss my 03. I totalled it in November after over 3 years of ownership (was the favorite car I've owned to date). Lots of time and money went into it and they are definitely fun cars!

Cool thanks for that tip... What Im running to now was I went to get a emission test done today and the computer said that it was not ready. Ive found the drive cycle test that needs to be done so I will try that but so far it looks like it will be a good car.
 
Why would anyone want to drive an ugly old vommit commet?

I was actually looking for another one before I bought my brothers car, but Im picky and wanted another super clean Sport for cheap lol.
