Ive got the addco rear sway bar installed for 6 months now. The passenger side clamp/strap tooth, that holds the sway bar to the body snapped. Now I have a nice clunking going on. Nobody seems to stock them! Where do I get a set?
Thanks!!!

I am in the same situation as you. Mine lasted longer with the Addco bar but had one snap also.
Max can still find them even though other dealers say they dont exist, $26.

DLFs kit is in the mail, as linked above.

Thanks for the ideas. I went and got an energy suspension kit and ill be doing my own mods. :) G

When you up size the bar you also need to add a shim under the strap to accommodate the increase in bar diameter, otherwise you will over stress the clamp and cause it to break.

G - You and I installed Addco anti-sway bars to our cars at about
the same time.

Going in, I knew I had to relieve the stress, as Roadboss
mentioned, that would occur when using you use the factory brackets. So
I made some modifications before installing my Addco. I documented it.
The installation is working as it should with no noise or binding.

If you want to see some ideas on modding the sleeve, click on my
Build Chronicle in my sig and look for the Addco mod. If you have other
ideas, share it among us.

Good Luck.

They really should change the bushings that come with the bar to ones that fit properly in the bracket... or include a shim... or new brackets...

Yes the bushing are not that great. I used the bushings that came with the energy bushing kit, greaseable and they fit nice. I did like DLF did and cut the corners so they fit properly. I used some old steel laying around as my shims.
Took me about 3 hours to fabricate and install. I had my angle grinder out.. :shifty:

Installed the DLF kit today, and loaded them up with grease. My bracket must of been broken for months before I checked it.
Drives like it use to now, no more banging and clanging. ADDCO should offer different brackets for the MN12.
Glad DLF offers the kit.
