Questions answered

Thanks for the support! We just love working and building hot rods and the Mark VIII really does fall into that catagory. As a full service shop we can do everything from part sales to complete installations. Our shop is located in Fayetteville, Georgia...just outside of Atlanta.

Our rear window trim kit is a very simple process and involves installing a 3M based trim piece that underlays the existing trim. All you have to do is throughly clean the underside of your wavy trim with alcohol or similiar solvent then the new trim piece is simply slid under the wavy trim. The new trim has a finishing edge so you know where to position the piece. You then pull the 3M tape protection strip and press the original trim into the new piece and the Mark VIII wave disappears. No cutting of the old trim is necessary and it is a 45 minute install. We have had our two cars soaking in the Georgia sun with great result. If anyone wants some additional pictures I can take some close up shots of the installed trim when I return to our shop Tuesday after the holiday weekend.

Our 6 speed transmission conversion consist of a cutting edge new GT500 style TR 6060 6 speed, high performance SPEC clutch w/aluminum flywheel, custom one piece driveshaft, custom crossmember, Ford Racing short throw shifter, new pedal assembly, SCT performance tuner, and complete installation for $6995.00

We will also offer SCT tuners with simple plug and play tunes for better performance. Stay tuned!

John

Please.

I'd also like to see pics of the material that you use.

Window Repair

No problem...I will post some pics when I return. I have two types...'L' shaped and 'T' shaped depending on how bad your trim is warped.
The pictures on my site show the 'L' style.

I am interested in seeing the trim repair as well.

Now a $7000 trans swap is a bit insane. Don't see too many of those in your future.
I did the math when I was seriously contemplating doing it myself and all the parts came out to $2400. I would have had to pay an extra $250 for some pedal fab work but the cost was way more then I wanted to spend.

I really wanted to see the website, any ETA on when it will be operating completely?

NM, site seems to be working now. Maybe it was me.

I LOVE the steering wheel! Mang I want one of them! Cant afford one but still want it!

Also want to see what the Speedstar center caps look like and how much. I really need some.

Nice work man and good luck!! Just a friendly reminder to check with your insurance carrier before modifying/deleting the SRS system. Some of them won't pay a nickle if you wreck the car and anyone inside is injured. State laws are all different in regards to liability but I wouldn't want to give an ambitious lawyer any angle at all.

I'd like to see the T type stuff if possible (it would replace the visible piece more, right?), personally I don't prefer the look of the other stuff as it looks like someone has stuff trim on old weathered trim imho...
