Ok guys, we all know how my 94 run a crap time at the track.....so time for seeing whats wrong...as suggested I removed my ram air, car was the same...now as yous know I have the other 94 beater mark 8...that screams still so time to switch out parts....i took the mass air flow, computer (without chip), coil packs and my car is still a dud all the way around.....now i was thinking.....when i start the car it cranks for like 10 seconds and starts....i've tried turning the key off and on a few times, still cranks the same way...but if i shut it off and start it right back up it starts vrooom......wondering if I have a bad fuel pressure regulator???? Has anyone had experience with this? fuel pump and filter are new.....car felt the same before and after the new pump......oh yea the IMRCs work too.

Possible, it's an easy swap.

while your at it, swap the VCRM that controls the fuel pump relays "high and low" speed

especially if you have a beater/parts car to swap parts with.

shoulda swapped the FPR and came back and said "I found it"!

VCRM is probably easier of the two to swap..but def give that FPR a shot.

LOL when you swapped the pump did you replace the rubber hose for the pumps feed? The little one? I have had nightmares being lazy and leaving the old one in, that CRACKS and leaks and will bleed pressure like a mofo.

all you need is a sniper tuner. that will fix it all. just tune for the mal functioning sh!t in your car. you'll be running 13's tomorrow!!!! LMAO

That sucks man I feal for you, been there before you'll get it. My cars different so theses guys know the best. Without data logging you don't know. theres so much sh!t electronic that could be wrong though. Do you have any means to record the data? it may be that easy. Then fix.

thanks man.....i wish...no way to data log.....but i do have the other 94 to pick parts off of....so we'll see how it goes....no the car doesn't smoke or use a drop of oil...we'll see...its raining here tonight...tomorrow is going to be nice...so tomorrow its on!! I will fix this car....i hope...lol

youll get it mine does random no starts but everytime i want to look at it or get my stuff out to look at it when it does it she wont do it or starts as soon as diag stuff is hooked up so hang in there you will find it
