Real quick..
Working on installing a new secondary chain on my 2000 3.9.. The drivers side chain snapped and has a broken tensioner...
right now, the flats on the cams are both facing down. I need to get the intake cam rotated so i can line up the exhaust cam to install new chain. Can I rotate the engine buy hand (clockwise) with the bolt holding the cam pulley on? (socket an cheater bar?) if so, do I need to remove the exhaust cam completely to make sure the valves dont get in the way...or at this point does it really matter.
