Just installed a battery warmer on the LS and I must say it a quick easy install for Gen 1 LS's due to having pre-hole already in trunk...only thing You have to do is make pre-existing hole a tad bigger...-25 with wind chill but won't wear on battery as much now...just plug under trunk and unplug when ready to roll out

I hope you're not talking about the hole for the battery vent tube...

Nope the hole is on the bottom of the trunk floor...my vent tube is coming from a different hole all together

    That's the tricky part. :D

Per chance was it a Wolverine adhesive pad type heater. I have one of those on my air compressor with a "plug through" adjustible thermostat. It's set to kick on anytime the garage drops below 40. Otherwise the breaker trips.

I have the car outside and keep our new car in the garage ....I have a outlet on the side of the garage outside ...works pretty slick ...just back my car in the drive way and plug it in at night
