Main Fuel Line Ruptured

Hello everybody. I got a problem. My line that leads to the fuel filter is has been shaken alose, it was hanging by a thread to begin with. When I replaced the fuel filter about two years ago, it was done improperly as I didn't have the special tool to remove the fuel line from the filter, I garffed up the garter spring lock on the fuel line, when I went to put it back, it held, but ever so gingerly. The snap lock was what was doing the majority of the holding. Hit a big puddle during the rainstorm and now I've got a fuel leak, anybody know the proceedure for replacing this line, or can I merely get a fresh garter spring so the filter can attach itself to the line like it's supposed to.

Ford should have the spring, I got a similar one for an AC line on my Mustang a long time ago from the dealer. If not, this junkyard right over the line here in Maryland should have it:
