To complete the LSE look for my 2000 LS. I had to get creative with my exhaust. The tips I found and wanted made by SKSpeed were $115. To mount them became a challenge. See one end of the muffler the inlet/outlet is centered. The other end it is off center. I needed the off center end to mount the tips currectly. I had to cut the muffler from the pipe and flip it. Magnaflow mufflers are a straight through design. They will flow either direction you mount them. Once the mufflers were flipped. Everything lines up perfectly.

Shots off the lift at ground level. Looks much better.

Any reason for not mounting the mufflers vertically?

Tips look good, I always wondered if the would fit in the LSE opening, what size are they???? I don't like the mufflers mounted that way myself as you can see too much of it, but for some reason that is the way the magnaflow cat back system was designed, I am sure can be modified.

Love the dual tips.

The catback design would not allow for vertical mounting without more cutting and modifying of the pipes. I wanted a nice flow for the exhaust. Not a bottle neck of pipes.

NivkT88LSC, I think we have the same tips. 6.5 inches x 3 inches x 9.5 inchesg.

Looks good, those tips look like they were made specifically for your car. However, I too don't care for how much of the mufflers are visible, they make it look off. From the rear the shiny mufflers kinda drown out the exhaust tips. If you painted the mufflers flat black to hide them, it would set the tips off beautifully. You can get a black something or other to temporarily hide the mufflers, then take a look to see if you'd like it better before making a permanent change though, perhaps put a black T-shirt or some black posterboard in front of the mufflers.

Nice, I love dual tips!

Are the tips sitting a little low or is it the angle of the picture?
