I'm wanting to get rid of the stock air box and go to a K&N cone type filter and intake tube. The prob is the MAF in my stocker, how do you get around that? Is there a substitute that will go inline that will take the place of the stocker?

the MAF is a critical component you can attach a cone to the MAF or run some piping the do a Cold air intake. :)

Not a Mod, I've got a 67 Belvedere with a 383 that I've been wanting to put a crate Hemi in but they are quite pricey. Kinda of a "Pipe Dream" I guess. Its hard to have toys when you have 2 kids in college. I do own a 2004 Ram with a 5.7 Hemi though.

you heard of a guy called hemi r/t? i think he got blocked today or yesterday, anyways i work with that guy! he showed me this morning all that he said and what went down on the web. lol hes not really the brightest crayon in the box,but he does have a nice lookin truck.

On eBay you can get adapters that fit the MAF. They come with POS filters but the adapters fit. Price about $5 - $10. Or if you know someone in your area who can easily make you one. I have a guy here who'd do it for me but I've asked about making them to sell and he wasn't interested.
