perhaps you're not aware of what's going on.
There are shortages, most stations don't have any gas. So people will follow the tanker trucks knowing that once they unload the gas, they'll be able to fill up their tanks.

Atlanta is regulated by the EPA. They have 2 blends. A summer blend and a winter blend. The summer blend does not have the sulfur in it to help keep down on the smog. So everywhere else is getting the normal gas, the EPA is making them still use the summer, which now is in short supply.
