MAD's Obama and McCain, the movies

This is one cover position that a candidate for president might rather pass.

If Barack Obama and John McCain were movies...
That's MAD magazine's jumping-off point for a couple of spoofs on the presidential candidates of the two major political parties.

MAD casts Obama, the junior senator from Illinois, in "46 Year Old Virgin.'' Political, in this case.
And MAD casts McCain, the senior senator from Arizona, in "No Country for Old Men.'' This man, in this case.
Equal time in the bashing box?
Unfairness Doctrine upheld?
Not sure about that.
MAD's cover recasts its iconic Alfred E. Neuman in the image (well, sort of) of Obama.
The magazine suggests that it may yet get around to spoofing the independent and Libertarian candidates, Ralph "28 Days" Nader and Bob "Barr-ella'' - though neither one of them is likely to object if they escape this treatment.
With thanks to D.C. Comics for its MAD images.

The last one reminds me of Stephen Colbert's book, "I Am America, and So Can You!"
