Mach questions...

I know, Mark forum. But I know ya guys and I know some of you know more than I know you think I know.... I think.... huh?

Anyway.... I just got my hands on an 04 Mach 1 intake. From what I have read there are no gains over a Cobra intake. Is that true?

Either way it is complete with fuel rails, injectors, IAC, TSP, blah..blah...

I am planning on putting this thing in the AVI8TOR and then in turn selling off the Cobra. Two reasons. One is that I can say I have a Mach intake and second, the Cobra intakes sell for over $450.00 but the Machs seem to sell for less - because they are missing the snake I guess.

Anyway. I noticed the injectors are quad port. The ones I have now are dual port form the Aviator setup. Anyone know the pound rating for Mach. I am trying to take off as much as I can from the Mach intake that I can use. I figured just the injectors *may* be usable for spare or as an upgrade.

Oh, and I should end up with a few spare parts from all the stuff I have. EGR valve, TSP, IAC, etc.

mach intake? like hole in the hood and shaker mach intake? That would be sick! i was just thinkin today actually about how bad ass that would be on mark 8.

I have no idea on the answer to your question. The above is just diarrhea of the mouth.

I REALLY thought of doing shaker also. $200 for the kits to get one. With the Gen 1 SMC (?) hood it would be an easy install really.

But no, this is just the intake manifold. It looks almost exactly like a 99+ Cobra manifold. Just no snake and other very minor changes.

One thing I noticed is that the lower is machined and cleaner looking. Its not port/polish work, its factory. But it looks like the runners are wider and less restrictive.
