m3 or m5 seats in an LS?

would it be possible to put some ///M3 or ///M5 seats in an LS?...what do you think aboiut a roll cage?...other than that and a nav screen in the ashtray the interior will be stock plus a cam attached to the roll cage, harnesses, (front and rear), black curtains in the rear window...dark tint as legal as i can get in arkansas...already have the Eibachs and want the others, if someone wants to trade that would be great or i will just sell mine or keep them...that infamous EVO kit for the LS in black, some new wheels, 19"s and low pro's, black hood, trunk, and roof, and side mirrors...all black to match the lip kit and wheels, also going to paint the chrome things on the bumper black....get one of those small trunk spoilers off of ebay in black....dont know what wheels i want...may just be all black with no lip...then the full engine and tranny and rear end work, brakes....that might be about it...then it would ben garage kept or trailored....unless its a high speed burn....
 
You could probably make the seats fit. Possibly mount them to the stock LS seat rails if they're close to the same size. Or maybe even mount them with the BMW rails. It's all about measuring to see if they'll fit. You would probably lose your factory electronic adjustment.

that will be painted black along with hood, side mirrors, roof, and trunk and small trunk spoiler that may be molded in...

now these are some wheels i have been wanting forever...i want the black ones, but i honestly think i could pull it off with the golds...i dont know, its a toss up...

i could keep my EBC's and get matching rear...going to wait yo see if i have enough left or if i even need bigger brakes...can i steal some from a cobra?...can i use cobra calipers?...o may be using the throttle body and MAF from one...

remember, pearl white car with all kinds of black accents....LS....and possibly high powered NA LS at that....
 
Personally, I think thats the worst body kit available for the LS, and the rims look like the cheesy ones they used to put on early 90's base model Mustangs, and the gold is definitely no bueno. But that's just my 2 cents.
 
those wheels are about roughly $2500...yokohama/advan...JGTC....trust me, look at some of the vip cars....i already posted a thread on it...yeah, i could make it work, and if it doesnt then i will redo it...big deal....
 
my car will look nothing like the car in the link might i add...it will work...possibillity of scissor door and reverse opening hod tho...for show...
 
The LS's seats have sensors in them that help control the deployment of the airbags; you'll need to adapt them to the M seats or live without airbags (which is technically illegal, even though Arkansas doesn't have inspections) and with a constant airbag warning. You may get the airbag warning anyway, because the car will no longer be able to communicate with the LS's seat-mounted airbags.

My main concern would be that the seats and seat mounts are part of the safety systems; if they don't directly bolt into the LS's mounts, you don't want just any jackass with a pair of vice-grips and a welder gittin' 'er done.
 
I think we have very different tastes, but if that's what does it for you, go for it!

Oh, just because the wheels cost alot, doesn't necessarily mean that they will look good for your particular application.
 
Why M seats??

If you want aftermarket just go with Recaro or Sparco although you'd have to get custom rails/sliders made.

Racing seats in a Lincoln are a complete waste of money, I'm happy with my comfy stock seats.
 
I know what you mean NYC.

Everytime I hear VIP style or EVO kit for the LS it makes my skin crawl. Reminds me of a past member too much.
 
everyone says to sell the car, but i dont want to...i like the LS...i guess i could just get an M3...but i really need a second car...anyone out there know of a 95 or 96 nissan 240sx 5spd ...preferrably good condition....
 
umm why would u roll cage an ls ???

those wheels are not vip ...

they belong on a drift car and there pretty damn ugly..


vip on an ls would look sick but it has to be done right and with taste
not just throw w.e u can get on it
 
and if ur looking for an s14 (95-98) 240 u can go on www.zilvia.net

ou can pick up a stock s14 anywhere from 3,000-5,000 depending on rust..

or one with a swap and suspension for about 6G's to 10g,s


if u want a roll cage and those ugly rims just buy a 240.... but dont put those rims on a 240 youl just scare the car for life!!!.
