Ive got a. XW4P BC Transmission out of a 2000 V6 LS. I have a 2002 Lincoln LS V8 5R55N that needs a transmission solenoid. I have no funds available right now. Will the parts interchange?

No probably best to get the updated solenoid pack.

I don't think he's asking if he can use the whole transmission, just if he can use the solenoid assembly inside the transmission. That does show as the same part number for the V8 as for the V6.

I mean't if they swapped the solenoid with an ''old style'' one which might be bad also. it might be better to get an updated one but if funds are low put it in and send it.
