LSE tails installed

Hey Alex, Well like everything else you do to your fine LS, you do one more thing that makes it that much nicer. I have always wanted the all red tails, but can not justify the price for them and can never find them at a junk yard either. The shirts and rear valance look real good. As for the guy who's all talk and no show, well lets just call him Mr. President.

Yes, anything done to my cars is done by me, I would never have someone else do my custom work. It is a custom housing I made w/ two 18-LED strips. I had a 48-LED strip but decided against it because I would've had to rewire the antenna connector that snaps onto the rear window.

Thanks leo, yeah they are hard to find. Well I found half of the set on here for under 100 new so that was already good amount saved from lsk. Then I just bought the other side from max with the lvc discount. Better than 440 for sure. I wasn't going to get them until later but since I didn't get to do anything to my ls over winter, I jumped on them.

I have an extra passenger outer tail that I'll sell you for dirt cheap if you want to start buying piece by piece when they come up.

Was'nt hard at all, when I did this back in 03 I used a navigator wiring harness(which has the nav drive & THX amp under the dash unit) so I
had to move my 6-CD changer to the trunk to make room for the nav drive in the glove box, but I did manage to get an LS harness and moved the nav drive to the trunk allowing me to have a full size glove box. I also did'nt want to give up my rearview mirror w/compass & outside temp and relpace it w/ the microphone mirror w/compass only, so I had to remove the microphone and mount it to the rain sensor cover. Since I have a garmin nav unit that I use in my other cars I can't really justify spending $200 for the map update, so I take the garmin along just in case.

Ok Alex, lets start the conversion process with that piece and I will begin the hunt.
