Ls with a SCT tune

I will be sure to never ask anybody on a forum about how they went about doing something to or for their car (i.e. how much, what di you get) when they have the same make/model/year car that I have because there is someone that sells that modification and I should go to the person selling it instead.
 
i will question though how different is Torrie's tunes in relation to our deserter who did many of the tunes you all have. Has anyone compared them side by side or anything?
 
I admit that I was in a hurry and did not pull the fan fuse (did pull the one for the fuel pump). However, prior to flashing, I had charged the battery overnight and figured that it would not be an issue.

ILLS' tunes exposes more user adjustable options (based on what I've searched on the LVC).
 
I had tunes from both. The only difference I noticed was that ILLS enabled more end user options to be messed with.
 
Not to get into a tuner pissing contest, but some folks have mentioned preferring ILLS's tunes.
However, since pektel ran into a little trouble and couldn't find him, I opted to go with Torrie instead.
 
and since ILLS isn't on here anymore I might as well hit Torrie up when I go back into the performance mods portion of my car..right now I wanna focus on exterior and sound system since those are what will set the bar differently...cause cmon...there will ALWAYS be faster cars.....that's like trying to be strongest man in the world...there will always be stronger!

that's fair.. and honest.

first time I did both, it was a pain
the second time I didn't do the fuel pump and I just unplugged the fan

every flash after than I just left it all plugged in and "held my breath".

but, I definatley warn those I give instructions to that "the proper way" is....

blah blah blah..

note: the first time you flash is the longest flash because the unit has to download your stock tune to the device before replacing it with the custom file.
Subsequent flashes take less time because it only "verifies" the stock tune and doesnt download it, and only adds/updates the custom file

My original question was to Playa not you. Your opinion is apparent. I disagree. Going to the salesman that is going to try and sell me a product is not how I research. I want to hear from someone who bought it what it cost, was it worth it and what they got. Then I will talk to the salesman if it is something I am still interested in.

The "O" you are referring to should actually be a "D" because I missed the "D" on the end of DID.

I'm sorry it was hard for you to understand. I forgot you are one of those guys who likes to correct grammar on this site.

Lastly, don't hate on me because I responded to your use of my quote.
 
It might not hurt to actually read what I posted and how we reached this point. You quoted me and I never said anything about "who". All I did what clarify what I did ask and state there was no reason to "lol". The answers to my questions were not in Playa's post.

Your original question was posted in a public forum, forgive me for attempting to assist you in researching your product in a proper manner.

I do have to thank you again XLR on the discussion on the intake tube. My LS is loving more now that plastic is back :P

Actually your post was the first time I'd ever mentioned grammar on this site, so you "forgot" something that never happend.. I guess.

I only said something because it was nearly impossible to understand other than like I said, you were using way to many words to say something simple like BUTT OUT.

Which again.. forgive me for using this public forum and I'll try and find a nice soft PINK babyfood spoon to use the next time I address you sir..

as painful as that may have been, glad it worked out in the end.

you took the flogging with a babyfood spoon quite well I might add.
did it leave any permanent marks?
