Tomorrow I'm planning to tow my friends '02 sentra for about 3 blocks. I'm looking for a tow point in the rear to attach two two ropes. Any idea where I can attach them to?

I'd have him rent the Home Depot truck........ That said, look for a couple of "frame" sections to tie up.

your friend doesn't have any truck driving friends?

unless you have a trailer hitch, theres not really much back there to hook up to...

There is a factory tie-down spot by the passenger muffler. It's more like what a roll-back wrecker would use to hold the car still. Not really sure how well it would fair as a tow point. I've used it to pull my LS out of sand at the beach before without issue.

Not really, having a truck in NY is like having a tank in the city. Parking is rare to find not to mention $3.89 for regular let alone premium.

Kumba, I'll try that. If all else fails, I'll throw the rope through the back doors and haul @$$.

Why not push it? I'd do that before using an LS to tow something.

That's actually what we ended up doing. We got his car started but the hoses for the tranny cooler blew off leaving his tranny burning in 1st. After that, we just pushed it bumper to bumper with the LS . Despite him having no power brakes or power steering, it was just as fun as it was dangerous. Pics of his car coming up soon.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. My sister pushed her boyfriend's 80's full size Olds with the '72 Cutlass. Pushed the front of the bumper up, broke the stone shield and grills.... Got his car out of the road, though.

Lol. Guess she didn't inch up before she started pushing. Thank goodness i didn't break anything. Here is the picture of his car:

He had the right of way, some guy blew a stop sign and dashed infront of him. Due to a Nissan airbag module recall, none of the airbags deployed. All is well with him, no injuries except minor knee pain.
