So next Wednesday I'm finally getting my stereo installed. Sony reciever, my Crunch amp from my T-Bird, and two Memphis Subs. Kicker speakers are already in. Anyway, the single DIN adapter comes in black. The stereo's black, and my 2nd gen has the horizontal black strip across the dash. Has anyone left the adapter black, or should I paint it silver to match the rest to the center dash? The installer will paint it if I want, but I'm not sure how it would match and I'm thinking of leaving it black.
