I have a 2000 LS and had a leak, after further inspection the degas tank.

Searched around on here and noticed it was a common problem and removed mine. It is leaking at the seam of the tank only on hot days when it builds up a bunch of pressure(i assume that is where most of leak) just wondering if anybody has repaired them with any degree of success, the car will be gone in the near future so wondering if I can patch it up????

Nope. Dunno what you would try to use. New tank is the only correct option. Selling the car without telling the buyer about rigging a crappy fix? Pretty f*cking shady, dude.

I guess what they say about LS owners is true.... you stupid piece of shiz, nowhere did i say anything about selling this car, it will be going to the crusher, in fact, anybody who sells an LS with over 70k miles is a shady character, you must be a pretty F'n shady dude for even thinking of selling one of these... I was looking for a fix to get this POS thru a couple more months without spending another dime on this time bomb......

uh oh...he seems mad, and its aaaaalllllllll pektel's fault lmao.
there is a tem fix tho. i tried it on mine. jbwled or epoxy (i think i used epoxy) but it prolly wont last months, well at least mine didn't

way to go pektel, you got his panties in a bunch lol

on a side note, theres an ad at the bottom of my page for leaky toilet repairs....lol

Lol. I doubt it's going to the crusher. If it were, then bring it there now instead of trying to f*ck with a degas bottle. Problem solved.
