I will have it done at a shop, along with the new sway bar bushings.
(I don't have anything other than the jack in the car... no jack stands or air tools etc. I know I could rent a compression tool... but I just don't have the tools to do this nor anyone to help). I don't think I have a socket for the one at the bottom.
I could go buy a better hydraulic jack and jack stands and some tools for this money... and I thought of that. There is no one to help. It's safer to have someone else use a good compression tool also. To pre-assemble would take 4 more mounts/cushions at nearly $50 each with shipping for $200 (none in stock locally).
It's my only car... so I can't be down long, and can't run for parts if I am missing something once taken apart.
It's going to cost me some money that I don't want to spend either way.
I was quoted $400 at two different shops for springs/shocks/alignment.
I would expect $100 for the sway bar bushings.
$500 for install basically.
