Lowering Springs V6/8 differences?

Apparently the Gen1 shocks for the V6/8 are the same back and front. Does this mean the V6ers can use V8 lowering springs too? I would love to drop my car 1.75". Anyone know?

I do know that the Eibachs for the V6/V8 are the same for the Gen2. The struts for the rear are the same, but the fronts are different for the V6 or V8, this goes for both Gen 1 and Gen2 models. I guess the weight of the V8 motor calls for stronger struts. As for the drop it will be about 1.1 to 1.25 for the V6. Go to my photo gallery and see the drop witha V6.
